We are seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Manager to join our team in Arlington, VA to begin an exciting and rewarding career. General Dynamics Applied Physical Sciences (APS) is a growing company specializing in research and development programs that create innovative technological solutions for emerging national security challenges. APS focuses on a wide variety of maritime technology areas, some of which include: sonar systems, novel autonomous surface vessels, unique sensing systems, undersea communications and networking, payloads for unmanned vehicles, and platform signature analysis and mitigation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develop and process Risk Management Framework documentation to obtain Approval to Operate for Collateral and higher classification information Systems through Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and other agencies.
• Serve as an ISSM and conduct secure computer maintenance and auditing functions.
• Configure new secure computers in accordance with DISA and JSIG requirements and the Risk Management Framework process.
• Direct ISSO and SAs in maintenance responsibilities.
• Perform other security functions as necessary to meet mission requirements.
• Work closely with our Security Manager and Security Team to maintain our security posture.
Position Requirements:
• Five or more years of relevant security experience.
• Recent experience supporting Information Systems maintenance functions including auditing and patching DCSA accredited systems.
• Familiarity with eMASS along with SCTM and Test Result Documentation.
• Familiarity with Compliance Checking and Vulnerability Scanning.
• ISSO and or ISSM experience is preferred.
• DoD 8570 Technical Level III certification (CISSP, CISM, etc.) will be required within one year of start.
• Good knowledge of the DISA STIGS, NIST 800-171 and Risk Management Framework.
• Good communication skills.
Security Requirements:
Must possess a current Secret security clearance, and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
