BAMAS is a microphone array-based noise source detection, classification and localization system capable of monitoring impulsive and steady-state low frequency acoustic noise.

BAMAS installations are remote and wireless, and are designed for unattended operation using either solar or AC power. Automated email notifications of a noise event are transmitted via a secure VPN network. The system’s accompanying web-based tools provide GIS mapping, noise levels, noise playback and data download for each event. All system data may be exported to Excel and Google Earth.
