Applied Physical Sciences (APS) is looking for a highly motivated Engineering Resource Coordinator. This Engineering Resource Coordinator will work closely with stakeholders and will be responsible for data analysis and facilitation of workforce planning for science and engineering projects across the company.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Project Managers and Engineering Resource Managers to help understand and reconcile project resource requirements with available workforce resources, as well as to help to judiciously identify new hiring needs
• Coordinate with the VP of Business Development and Business Capture Leads to stay apprised of potential upcoming workforce needs, and provide workforce projections for Senior Management to carefully assess
• Work with Project Managers, Engineering Resource Managers, and Human Resources to help in the crafting of hiring requisitions and manage recruiting efforts for active openings. This may include internal recruiting efforts, as well as liaising with external recruiting resources.
• Coordinate regular fall and spring university recruiting efforts, working with key Engineering Resources to support career fairs, industry days, and other on-site and virtual recruiting efforts.
• Analysis and reporting of engineering resource utilization and variance projections
Attributes and Skills:
• Background in engineering or in engineering recruiting would be beneficial
• Experience with workforce planning, and talent acquisition or management and coordination
• Able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in analysis and reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, as well as experience with workforce planning software solutions
