Applied Physical Sciences (APS) is seeking several Engineering Interns to fill summer internships supporting several engineering projects/programs at our Groton and/or Pawcatuck, CT offices. Successful applicants will be responsible for supporting engineers with a variety of tasks that are in the design, quality / inventory control, development and/or test phase of development. Position requires successful applicant to take direction from engineers and, with some guidance, independently work tasks to completion. APS works on exciting, technically challenging, cutting-edge technologies that will expose candidates to a wide variety of multidisciplinary fields and allow for unique learning experiences.
Job Requirements:
- High-school student completing their sophomore or junior year
- Interest and coursework in Science, Technology and Mathematics
- Experience working under Windows and/or Linux based systems
- A basic understanding of shop tools.
APS is a wholly owned subsidiary of the General Dynamics Corporation. This part-time summer internship position is open in our Groton/Pawcatuck, CT locations.
